The focus of this project was to retain the single storey character and detailing of the existing Californian Bungalow at the street, while adding 2 storey contemporary living at the rear. Key design features include a raked ceiling with hi-light window to view the tree canopy from the new living space, an island robe with cathedral ceiling in the main bedroom, a window with a view within the main ensuite mirror, a hidden cellar, and a minimal cantilevered carport – with double off street parking. We also designed a small pool in the back yard. It’s a great family home for the family that live here.
