A complete transformation of a historic Paddington terrace into a light-filled contemporary home. We developed an innovative design and carefully coordinated the Complying Development and DA approval pathways to bring this challenging property beautifully into the present.
The owners brought a clear vision and valuable renovation experience to the process. Through close collaboration between client, architect and builder, the completed Paddington terrace house renovation remains remarkably true to the atmosphere and functionality they hoped to achieve. The result is a calm, sophisticated home that uses every part of its historic structure intelligently—demonstrating how an experienced Paddington terrace architect can preserve the character of a Victorian terrace while transforming it for contemporary life
